We feature the Rais and Wittus line of architecturally designed wood-burning stoves. These stoves are extremely efficient due to their solid construction, innovative design and built in soapstone inserts. These technologies allow the stoves to be “carbon dioxide neutral,” which means that when wood is burned in the stove, it is releasing the same amount of carbon dioxide that would normally be present if the same wood was naturally decomposing in a forest. No fan is required with these stoves, since they work using convection – allowing the cool air to rise through the stove and be released either through vents or radiated out through the soapstone inserts. Our line of Naturals Collection cabinets was developed right here in Portland with Neil Kelly Cabinets to include the most advanced options for an environmentally responsible and functional kitchen. The standard case material is a formaldehyde-free wheatboard. FSC-certified woods can be incorporated in the cabinet doors. A wide range of beautiful door styles, finished with low-toxic yet durable Safecoat Polyureseal, Cabinet and Trim Enamel or a natural oil finish make these cabinets an attractive choice for your home.
